Our Consultants
Rodney Deitch Associates has been established since 1986. The company’s consultants
have backgrounds in politics, the civil service, the media, the charitable and voluntary
sectors, higher education, the Health Service, and the healthcare and pharmaceutical
industries. They include:
Rodney Deitch, who has twenty years experience of conducting government relations
initiatives for a wide range of companies and other organisations, and was a Political
Correspondent (for daily newspapers and for professional journals) in Parliament
from 1974 until 1986. This background has given him an extensive knowledge of the
mechanisms of effective communication between independent organisations and Government.
He has an honours degree in English Literature from Cambridge University.
Elizabeth Hunt, who has extensive experience in the public and voluntary
sector, both as a manager and a consultant. She has been a senior manager for national
charities and for local authorities. She chairs two London adoption panels. She
is a sociology graduate of Lancaster University and holds a masters degree in Management
Development and Social Responsibility from Bristol University.
Frank Jezierski has many years' experience as a lobby correspondent, covering
Westminster and Whitehall for print and television. More recently he has been a
Fleet Street executive, responsible for the comment and analysis sections of a quality
national newspaper. He writes on media developments and government. He has an honours
degree from Bradford University.
Alison Curran, who is a widely experienced events manager and conference
development specialist. She is a graduate of Exeter University. She has been responsible
for the organisation and management of a wide range of events both in the UK and
overseas, since joining the industry in 1982. Her clients have included, amongst
others, international corporations (e.g. Olivetti and Black and Decker) and large
groups of City solicitors.
Gill Allen, who is a Registered Nurse, Midwife and Clinical Teacher. She
worked in the NHS for 25 years, latterly as Ward Sister and Clinical Nurse Specialist
in a Trauma and Orthopaedic Unit in a London teaching hospital. Her interest in
disability then involved her working in the community setting, alongside the voluntary
sector, as a Nurse Practitioner caring for patients with a variety of neurological
disabilities. She is an expert on organisation development within the NHS and its
partner agencies. Her particular interests are in user and carer involvement, and
the development of interdisciplinary practice. She is an Associate Lecturer in the
Department of Health Studies at Brunel University and project manager for the development
of an MSc programme in neurological disability.
Rodney Deitch Associates consultants work closely with our associated company,
Cadmus Newsletters Ltd, the publishers of
the fortnightly and monthly briefings Social Services Parliamentary Monitor
and Healthcare Parliamentary Monitor keeping them continually in daily touch
with Parliamentary and governmental developments.
